general homestuck observations and theories:
- aradia is the only troll never to have been shown bleeding their own blood (the only time she bleeds, it’s the blue blood equius gives her)
- technically speaking, the only troll never shown bleeding at all in the alpha timeline is terezi (she was shown dead in offshoot timelines though)
- tavros’ status as a page of breath could have been represented by his ability to commune with animals; the “page” class being interpreted as “messenger” or “servant”, and the “breath” aspect being interpreted as “speech”
- the page class might be a passive counterpart to the (active) knight classÂ
- considering its roots, the page class is also most likely a masculine version of the feminine maid class
- the maid class is probably a passive counterpart to the (active) witch class
- if the post-scratch kids followed the same “birth” patterns their pre-scratch counterparts did (nanna/ jane and grandpa/ jake arriving long before mom/ roxy and bro/ dirk), that would mean that dirk and roxy are presumably 50-70 years ahead of jane and jake
- however, an issue arises when you consider the fact that, if the post-scratch kids retained their same arrival dates from the original session, the post-scratch guardians would most likely have done the same, thus having poppop, grandma, mom, and bro arrive within months of one another, meaning that bro/ dave and mom/ rose would be around 100 years old by time jane and jake begin playing the game
- my previous assumption about all the post-scratch kids having more human-based denizens, with dirk having a more monstrous one, seems to be true thus far
- ive been wanting to read homestuck again for the fifth time and i probably will tonight because im really lame
